Hertha sack manager after Werder defeat

Head coach Bruno Labbadia is no longer Hertha’s mentor, according to the Berlin club’s official website.

This decision was made by the club’s management after yesterday’s devastating defeat from Werder Bremen (1:4), which was the third defeat in the last four matches of the Bundesliga.

Labbadia joined Hertha in April last year and following the results of the last campaign, the Berlin team took 10th place in the German championship.

It is also noted that the general manager of the club, Michael Preetz, who has worked at the club since 2009, has lost his position.

After 18 rounds, Hertha is in 14th place in pin up Bundesliga with 17 points. Only two points separate the team from the relegation zone.
